These waffles are a delicious breakfast treat for whenever you have a little bit of extra time in the mornings. They are both gluten and sugar free and made with either buckwheat or almond flour. Personally I like to add a scoop of protein powder from Puori. I use either their CP2 - Whey Collagen or their plant based Protein powder PB Plante Protein Booster. But adding it is totally optional.
Because those waffles are made with wholesome ingredients & contain no added sugar they are as well perfect for the little ones at home and serve a great snack on the go. Just be sure to leave out the salt if making them for kids under 1 year.
Enjoy with any of your favorite breakfast toppings.

4 eggs
100 g buckwheat or almond flour

1 scoop of protein powder (optional)
Directions
With a fork, mash your bananas & butter until well combined. Add in your eggs and mix together with your mashed bananas & butter. Now add in buckwheat flour (or almond flour), protein powder, cinnamon and salt. Combine well until you have a nice waffle dough.
Bake your waffles in a waffle iron using a little butter.
